Update June 2022, we have recently heard that violinist Ionel Manciu (winner of the 2019 CCC) has just been appointed as first concertmaster of the Netherlands Philharmonic Orchestra. Many congratulations to Ionel.

The CSO holds the Croydon Concerto Competition biennially (however the next competition will be in 2023 due to Covid 19). We aim to support and showcase young soloists through this event. Former winners of previous competitions include Michael Foyle, Peter Foggitt, Jamal Aliyev, Diana Brekalo, Madalina Rusu, Daniel de Borah and Emma Halnan.
